Your AI commerce team

Muster reads your BigCommerce store and answers questions about it — what sold, what changed, and what to do next.

Already installed? You can also open Muster from Apps → My Apps in your BigCommerce control panel.

What Muster does

Monitor

Specialists keep watch over your sales, catalog and storefront, and flag what changed.

Explain

Ask what sold, what slipped and why — every answer is read from this store’s own data.

Operate

Tune your shopper chatbot, store knowledge and experiments by asking, not by hunting through settings.

Meet your team

Category Manager

Looks after your storefront — what shoppers see, and the experiments that test it.

CX Manager

Reads the questions shoppers ask your chatbot, and helps you answer the ones it couldn’t.

How to get started

  1. Install Muster

In your BigCommerce control panel, open Apps and install Muster, then approve the permissions below.

  2. Link a Muster account

The setup screen asks whether you already use Muster: link this store to your account, or create one. Either opens in a new tab.

  3. Let Muster finish setting up

Muster places its storefront script and imports your products and orders. The checklist ticks off each step, with a button for anything left for you to do.

  4. Ask your team

Open Muster and ask about sales, products or shoppers. Every answer is read from your own store’s data.

What Muster can access

BigCommerce shows you this list before you install, and you approve it all at once.

PermissionAccessWhy Muster needs it
ProductsRead-onlyYour catalog, so every answer your team gives references real products.
OrdersRead-onlyYour orders, so revenue ties back to what shoppers actually bought.
ContentRead and modifyPlaces Muster’s storefront script for you, so there is no code to paste.
Information & SettingsRead-onlyReads your store’s name, currency and timezone so reports use the right store context.
Checkout ContentRead and modifyLets the script run on checkout and order confirmation, where purchases are recorded.

Muster can read your products and orders but never change them. Because its script can run on checkout pages, BigCommerce also asks you to accept responsibility for PCI-DSS compliance before the install completes.
